This cat o' nine tails is rather more severe. The hard kip tails are slightly tapered for speed and spread out by a turks head knot, preventing them bunching together on impact. The 16 inch fibreglass-cored, slightly flexible handle is finished with a fine 20-strand overlay, pineapple knot pommel and French grapevine lashing securing the tails. £230
