Working stockwhip
The thong has a 6-strand belly and 12-strand overlay, both in heavyweight roo, the handle being covered with 16 strands of finer leather. As a departure from tradition I've used a non-demountable, replaceable keeper threaded through a plaited eye at the butt of the thong. This gives the whip an easy motion in any direction while keeping slack in the hinge to a minimum. Total reach is thirteen and-a-half feet. £510.
